1-day Emergency First Aid at Work

1-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid at Work
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course will give you a thorough grounding an knowledge when it comes to knowing what to do in an Emergency situation with lots of hands on practice dealing with scenarios and incidents. Please make sure that it is the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course you require and not the full 2 day Paediatric First Aid at Work Course.
What you’ll learn, understand the role and responsibilities of the Paediatric First Aider. Be able to assess an emergency situation safely. Be able to provide First Aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive. Be able to provide First Aid for an infant and a child who is choking. Be able to provide First Aid to an infant and a child with external bleeding. Know how to provide First Aid to an infant or a child who is suffering from shock. Know how to provide First Aid to an infant or a child with bites, stings and minor injuries. Role and Responsibilities of the Paediatric First Aider. Prioritising treatment. Dealing with post incident stress. Contents of a Paediatric First Aid box. Apply skills to either an infant (baby) or a child first aid situation, this is not a full list, the learning goes on.
3-day First Aid at Work
Our comprehensive 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course is specifically designed to provide in-depth training for individuals who are designated as first aiders in their workplace. This course goes beyond the basic skills covered in the Emergency First Aid at Work course and provides participants with a more extensive understanding of first aid techniques and protocols.
During the 3-day First Aid at Work course, participants will acquire a wide range of essential skills, including advanced CPR techniques, managing major illnesses and injuries, recognizing and responding to a variety of medical conditions, and effectively communicating with emergency services. With a focus on hands-on practice and scenario-based training, participants will develop the confidence and competence necessary to handle a broad range of emergency situations in the workplace. This course is particularly beneficial for high-risk work environments or industries that require more in-depth first aid knowledge due to the nature of the tasks performed.
1/2-day First Aid Refresher Course
Our half-day Annual First Aid Refresher course is designed to provide individuals who have previously completed the full First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses with an opportunity to refresh and update their first aid skills and knowledge. Keeping up-to-date with first aid techniques is crucial to ensure that individuals remain confident and competent in responding to emergencies effectively.
During the Annual First Aid Refresher course, participants will have the opportunity to review and practice essential first aid skills, such as CPR, AED usage, managing wounds, fractures, and burns, and assessing and responding to various medical emergencies. The course focuses on reinforcing core concepts, addressing any questions or concerns, and providing updates on the latest best practices and guidelines in first aid. By attending this refresher course annually, participants can stay current with their first aid training and maintain their ability to respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations.
